Environmental Management Policy

Environmental Management Practices and Policies

1. Ship Operation Policy
  • Expand the use of low-sulfur fuels.
  • Minimize fuel consumption through optimized route planning and ship operations.
  • Promote the adoption of shore power systems while ships are docked at port.
  • Encourage the use of eco-friendly materials in shipbuilding and repair processes.
2. Marine Pollution Prevention Policy
  • Ensure thorough segregation, management, and legal disposal of waste oil, wastewater, and solid waste on ships.
  • Operate marine spill prevention systems (e.g., double hulls, oil detection sensors).
  • Establish marine pollution response manuals and conduct regular emergency drills.
3. Marine Ecosystem Protection and Carbon Emission Reduction Policy
  • Use eco-friendly paint to reduce the spread of hazardous substances from hulls.
  • Reduce carbon emissions within the port area by using electric trucks and forklifts whenever possible.
